Production stop on NSA activation
In brief
The production stop regulation continuously reads the status of the emergency power generator (NSA) and ensures that when it becomes active, the controllable generators are immediately reduced to a safe value.
How it works
For the production stop regulation, an S0 contact is made available on the Envi.Baseenvi.base De energiecontroller van Envitron die apparaten uitleest, aanstuurt en data opslaat achter de hoofdaansluiting.. When a standard installation cabinet is supplied, it is possible to connect the ATS/generator contacts to the S0 terminal block A1 (included as standard). This always expects a closed circuit (NC) in the normal operating situation. Should the installation switch to emergency power operation, this contact must open and everything will be automatically switched off. An open circuit is then detected, causing the battery and PV to be driven to zero in order to prevent voltage rise.
This may therefore be a contact on the generator that opens by itself when it switches to emergency power operation, but it may also be a switching contact on the main switch of the grid connection or of the ATS (automatic transfer switch). During emergency power operation, the system must always be disconnected from the grid.
